Pittas + Koullouros LLC is a specialised commercial law firm with multidisciplinary expertise and experience, focusing on corporate, banking and commercial law and all related and ancillary areas. Indicatively, our practice focuses on corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, banking & finance, restructuring & insolvency, competition law and ancillary aspects of financial services regulation, real estate, employment law and IP. Our clients include international and local corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms and international sponsors and professional advisors.

Panayiotis Koullouros

Panayiotis has a dual qualification as a Solicitor of England & Wales and a Cypriot advocate. Pan is a graduate of Christ’s College of the University of Cambridge with a degree in law (MA (Cantab), LLB).

Prior to moving to Cyprus, Pan worked for eight years in the corporate team of global Magic Circle law firm Linklaters LLP, more recently as a managing associate. Pan has represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies, sovereign funds and high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporations. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and consortiums, reorganisations and ongoing corporate and portfolio company advice in relation to high-profile, cross-border, high-value transactions.

In the last few years, Pan has co-founded Pittas + Koullouros LLC and has been heading the firm’s corporate and commercial, M&A and JV and employment law practices, advising a range of stakeholders, both in its capacity as Cyprus counsel alongside leading international law firms, as well as lead transaction counsel on major deals, with extensive experience in private equity transactions.

Pan combines excellent legal advice with a personal no-nonsense approach and is described by clients as a ‘truly business-oriented lawyer’, an ‘exceptional professional’ and a ‘great partner’. He brings a collaborative and commercial approach to resolving disparate interests amongst divergent stakeholders without losing focus of the primary objective – getting the deal done.

Stelios Pittas

Stelios has a dual qualification as a Solicitor of England & Wales and a Cypriot advocate. Stelios holds an LLB from the University College London.

Prior to moving to Cyprus in 2019, Stelios trained, qualified and worked for eight years in London at global Magic Circle law firm Linklaters LLP, specialising in banking, restructuring and insolvency and reaching the level of managing associate. Stelios also completed secondments in Linklaters Moscow in 2012, as well as the restructuring unit of Lloyds Bank plc in London in 2016.

Since relocating to Cyprus, Stelios has worked alongside the firm’s other founder, Pan Koullouros, in setting up and co-managing Pittas + Koullouros LLC. In addition, Stelios heads the firm’s banking and finance, restructuring and insolvency and competition law practice, acting for a range of stakeholders including banks, funds and corporates.

With his strong analytical approach on technical legal matters, Stelios is a passionate, enthusiastic and flexible professional providing high-quality advice that is solution-driven and always focused on maximising value for his clients.
